Starting in 2022, I worked as Violette Boutique’s full-time Digital Marketing Manager for two years. I have since worked for them, seasonally, assisting them with social media and marketing initiatives. I am currently working with them part-time as their Digital Marketing Manager. Violette Boutique is a multi-brand jewelry retailer in Victoria, BC, stocking mostly Canadian jewelry brands and other little luxuries.

My role is multi-faceted, managing social media, email marketing, and website content. I also serve as the creative director for photo shoots with their photographer, Alyx Savage. Over the years, I have also optimized their website and facilitated necessary updates to ensure a user-friendly experience. I continue to create scroll-stopping cross-platform content and copy to keep up with trends while maintaining their brand voice.

When I am working with them, I am the creative director for each photoshoot, and I often conceptualize multiple concepts and themes per shoot, depending on their stock, the season and various promotions. With the photos, I manage their Instagram feed to represent their brand authentically and vibrantly.
I am also creating more reels for their feed and curating images from the brands they carry to diversify their content. Our overall goal is to keep their social media feed interesting and stretch their original content.
